报告人简介：
Dr. Yimin Yang is currently an Assistant Professor at Computer Science Department in Lakehead University, Canada and is also a faculty affiliate at the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Ontario, Canada. He received his Ph.D. degree in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent System from the College of Electrical and Information Engineering, Hunan University, China, in 2013. From 2014 to 2018, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Windsor. His research interests are machine learning, neural network, and signal processing. He has authored or coauthored more than 50 refereed papers. He is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, and the Journal of Neurocomputing. He has been serving as a Reviewer for many international journals of his research field and a Program Committee Member of some international conferences.
